The legs and sides are zipped into a pouch in the back of the cushions making the shipping container smaller and I think it's a smart move on the company's part. I'm super happy with my purchase. I got great price. I knew exactly what to expect as far as shipping went, so I waited the allotted time, which was about 4.5 weeks. No big deal.
